 MGPS Kennel Meeting for volunteers to bring new ideas, ask any questions, and to have updates on what is happening next at MGPS. If you have been thinking that you may want to volunteer at MGPS, please come and meet the other volunteers, get more information as well as get a kennel tour. We are always looking for more volunteers to help take care of the Greyhounds. We are now also looking for people that are willing to be Turn Out Helpers. What is a Turn Out Helper? That is someone who would like to volunteer but doesn't necessarily want to be responsible for the entire Turn Out. This person could help but opening and closing the gates for the Greyhounds, helping check their crates, help to do the chores needed like: mopping, vacuuming, doing laundry, etc. WE NEED YOU to join our GREYT TEAM to take care of the Greyhounds!! If you are looking to volunteer in a different way like, office work, writing grants, even keeping the activity room ready for events... there are so many things that are not direct Greyhound care. It takes all volunteers working together to keep Greyhounds coming to Maine and we appreciate each and every volunteer in the MGPS Team! Please share to spread the word!
